Gut health

When dealing with gut health issues one needs to assess the condition of the organs involved, as well as the ecosystem of bacteria hosted there.

Aside from the 5 obvious organs: stomach, small/large intestine, liver, gallbladder; gut health also depends on the thyroid & adrenal glands, muscles of the trunk, appendix. This highlights the intimate relationship the gut has with the endocrine system. It’s no surprise then to often see gut issues together with hormone imbalances.
